Paper mache is a fun and easy way to create decorative or functional objects from recycled materials. This vase appears as a ceramic blue sphere with a white stone ball, however it is made from our everyday used paper.

It is made by layering strips of used paper soaked in a starchy adhesive over a mold. Once dry, the paper mache hardens into a lightweight but sturdy material that can be painted or decorated.
